Property-Based Semantic Similarity Criteria to Evaluate the Overlaps of Schemas

Knowledge graph-based data integration is a practical methodology for heterogeneous legacy database-integrated service construction. However, it neither efficient nor economical to build new cross-domain knowledge graph on top of the schemas each database specific application rather than reusing existing high-quality graphs. Consequently, question arises as whether compatible with queries and heterogenous systems. An effective criterion urgently needed in order evaluate such compatibility limits quality upbound integration. This research studies semantic similarity from aspect properties. It provides set in-depth criteria, namely coverage flexibility, pairwise between schemas. takes advantage properties graphs overlaps defines weights entity types perform precise computation. The effectiveness criteria obtained demonstrated using case study.
